This class will focus on the Medicare redetermination and reopening process. You will learn the different levels of appeal, as well as the difference between a redetermination and a reopening. We will conclude with examples of redeterminations, and how to utilize our self- service tools.
2017 Novitas Symposium Encore: Part A/B Insight Into the National Correct Coding: Initiative Program
Initiative (NCCI) and the Medically Unlikely Edits (MUE). Attendees will learn how to properly bill when NCCI and MUE edits apply. We will discuss the initiatives, navigate the NCCI tables and edits via the website, provide modifier information, and documentation requirements. Ability | PC-ACE Overview
This course will review the ABILITY | PC-ACE program. Join us for a demonstration on how to submit your claim file via Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) or through the Novitasphere Portal. Attendees will learn how to configure the software, claim entry, file preparation, view acknowledgement reports and 835 ERA files.
Note: In order to participate in an educational event, you must be registered in the Novitas Medicare Learning Center with the specific focus area (Jurisdiction and Line of Business) listed with each event. If you are not registered in the specific focus area of the event you want to attend, you will not be able to view or register for that event in the Novitas Medicare Learning Center.
