The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced on April 26, 2020, that it is reevaluating the amounts that will be paid under its Accelerated Payment Program for Part A providers, and suspending its Advance Payment Program to Part B providers/suppliers. CMS had expanded these temporary loan programs to ensure providers and suppliers had the resources needed to combat the beginning stages of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Part A providers may continue to submit an Accelerated Payment Request Form. Please note that we are not processing the request forms while CMS is reevaluating the payment amounts. This may delay the processing of your Part A payment request.
For Part B providers, we are no longer accepting payment request forms submitted on or after April 26. If you submitted an advance payment request form prior to the suspension of this program, CMS is currently evaluating the requests. Once CMS makes a determination of the request, we'll notify you via email of the decision.

You can access and submit the Accelerated Payment Request Form through our new Provider Enrollment Gateway. Only Part A providers can submit a request form.
Note: You must submit only one request form per Provider Transaction Access Number (PTAN). The request form must include both the PTAN and National Provider Identifier (NPI) that receives payment.

Once you successfully submit the form, we’ll email the payment decision to you. If approved, the email will also include the payment amount and when you’ll receive payment.
